hello everybody, it’s great to see things moving. the forum makes a lot of sense, the server updates with its speed improvements etc are quite noticable too. it’s all good.

some food for thought:

- i personally much more prefer the original clickwheel logo on the ‘home’ screen rather than the one here in the forum. also i really have to express my love for the original graphic design of the page. great work and hopefully not too much will be altered here, apart from site architecture and stuff.

- is there any functioning download counter in planning, one which gives a ‘fair’ account of the performance of individual strips and strip series? in the past a few download bots forged numbers beyond comprehension, for instance, and in terms of number of features compared to interest in series there is no real algorythm in place as far as i understand.

- and the last thing is (of course :) money. in the beginning there was apparently a structure in place where the ‘top 10’ got paid some royalty as an incentive. has this been completely abandoned? is there any new scheme in the pipeline which sort of ‘rewards’ artists for the work they offer and the interest they create?

in any case, it’s all very exciting. i really love changes and i can’t wait to see the true potential of CLICKWHEEL (slowly) unfold.

‘Preciate it, but the site IS changing, and yes, that is our new logo. Hopefully you’ll agree the stuff we’re keeping is what worked and what we’re improving on needed the lift.

and the last thing is (of course :) money.

I’ll be explaining how this is going to work shortly. Probably this week, but yes, the monthly retainer system has been suspended, it’s not that we don;t love you guys, it’s that the amount we were paying out was more than we were bringing in, and that just doesn’t work, no matter how much we’d all like it to. Again, updates on this matter soon.
