I’ve tried downloading this a couple of times now, but keep getting an error message saying that the file is corrupt. Is the file corrupt or is it possibly a problem with my system?

I just had the same problem, I just sent an e-mail with a screen grab to the click wheel support to see what can be done about it. THing is I have never read 2000AD ever so this is twice the sux0r lol

Update Turns out the problem was on my side, was using Firefox (my browser of choice), switched to over to Explorer and it downloaded with no troubles what so ever, oh and once you purchase the comic you can re-download it at no additional cost

Hope this helps :)

We should have this Firefox compatibility issue worked out soon, but yes, in the meantime, please try downloading via Internet Explorer.

Thanks.

Oh- and please note if you have purchased the comic and the download failed you DO NOT need to buy it again. Simply log in to the site and you will find the ‘buy this’ button is now a book icon. Simply click that button and the download will start. Once you purchase an item from us it is there for you to access at your convenience with no double purchases even if you lose or delete the file.

My pleasure. I’m a Firefox user myself (though on Mac, the issue is on PC) so I assure you, we’ll get this one worked out. In the meantime I appreciate your collective understanding.

I’m on a PC, running XP, using Explorer.

I’m getting a message that says “the file is damaged and could not be repaired”.

any ideas?

just to be clear, it’s now three full days since I reported this problem.

I apologize for that but those days were mostly over a weekend. My email, tim’at’clickwheel.net is jacked into my phone allowing me to answer as quickly as possible as it’s alwasy with me but I am only on the forum Monday thru Friday. I apologize for the inconvenience and the wait but I’m afraid we simply can’t be monitoring the forum at all times and responses will be slower on weekends.

I have since received your email and will resolve your problem personally, which seems to be a unique one.

I have just sent a reply to your email. most of what I have to say is covered in there, but I just want to point out that at this point, this thread is the only place on this website where you can actually see that email address on a screen.

Sorry for being such a pain- I’m going to delete my previous posts now.
