With the arrival of Apple TV and the iPhone, Apple have revised their technical spec for video podcasts, which includes most of the work on Clickwheel. They’ve suggested that you increase the resolution of your image files from 320×240 to 640×480px. Why? Because work intended for the iPod and iPhone is ported through iTunes, and iTunes is the synchronization and delivery mechanism for AppleTV. So, to save you the bother of encoding your work at different resolutions, they’re recommending a format that works on both platforms. Make sense? If not, lemme know.
